What's the goal for NIDC's middle-school cheer team?
NIDC is raising $30,000 to inspire our young people and our ambitious young staff to make their way to the 2025 college Half-time football Citrus Bowl performance from December 28, 2024 - January 1, 2025, and the Hershey Park Nationals from April 26, 2025 - April 29, 2025.

Who are the Panthers - NIDC's hidden gem?
The Panthers has been an
active middle-school cheer program since 2012. Funded by NIDC and
located at PS 89, one of NIDC's afterschool program sites, the Panthers
is the FIRST Bronx team to make it to the prestigious UCA Nationals,
founded Universal Cheerleaders Association and nationally televised on
ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and CBS Sports to over 100 million homes and 32
countries nationwide each year.
In
addition to traditional crowd leading, NIDC's program builds leadership
and team building as well serves as a strong foundation to instill
academic ambition and social-emotional skills.
